Our large event spaces can be arranged in a variety of popular layouts to suit your style, audience, and event goals. Common setups include theatre, reception, dining/banquet, cabaret, classroom and boardroom formats. Giving you flexibility to design your event exactly as you envision it. These configurations are widely across our venues and are suitable for everything from conferences to celebrations.
Most event planners recommend booking at least 6-12 months in advanced for conferences, corporate events or medium-to-large gathering, as availability and pricing are strongly affected by season and demand. For very high-demand dates or large scale events, especially weddings, booking 12-18 months ahead is considered best practice. Smaller events may offer more flexibility, but securing your space early gives you more options and often better rates.
Yes we offer strong accessibility support, with many providing flat access, lifts to all floors, automated doors, accessible toilets and wheelchair-friendly facilities.
Our venues offer a strong range of built-in AV and technical capabilities. With our very own in-house AV team at the East Midlands Conference Centre to support setup, operation and troubleshooting throughout your event. Equipment includes large display screens, Clickshare, cameras for hybrid events, pa systems, music speakers, microphones, projectors and flatscreen TVs.
Yes you can usually bring your own production team, but you’ll work alongside the venues in house AV specialists, who are already set up to support events on site. Nottingham Venues’ East Midlands Conference Centre, for example, has its own in-house AV team and technical infostructure, so external teams are welcome as long as plans are coordinated to ensure everything integrates smoothly and safely.
