Across from the East Midlands Conference Centre sits The Orchard Hotel. With 203 bedrooms, including our Signature Suite with stunning views of the campus, it is an ideal place for the bridal party to get ready and for guests to stay if travelling from afar.

Weddings in the Banqueting Suite


Our space

Room for up to 500 guests. Available to you from 7am until midnight, the room will be fully set up with tables, chairs and tablecloth to your agreed seating arrangement. Room to get changed can also be arranged

What we provide

White linen tablecloths and napkins, cutlery, crockery and glassware. Staging blocks (3ftx6ft), dancefloor (5mx5m), star cloth wall and pin spot lighting

Catering

External caterers have access to our kitchens. For caterers not on our preferred supplier list, we require an audit organised by the client and caterer

Beverages

Corkage includes bringing own soft drinks, spirits, champagne, wine and bottled beers

Our team

A dedicated event planner will help with every step of the way. On the day we will provide a duty manager, kitchen porter and bar staff at an additional cost if required

Accommodation

Complimentary executive room at the Orchard Hotel for the bride and groom plus a discounted rate for wedding guests (subject to availability). Complimentary parking for all guests
