Sustainable growth as our green credentials are recognised at regional awards

With well over 100 entries received, it is great to have been recognised in a category that many in our industry are perhaps not traditionally associated with.

The team joined 300 business leaders from across the region, having been shortlisted alongside some fantastic local businesses and organisations; Colton Packaging, Hockley Developments, Light Science Technologies and Linwood Raker.

Speaking to the assembled guests, magazine editor Sam Metcalf praised all of the finalists and winners, noting;

“In an extremely tough year for East Midlands businesses, all our shortlisted and winning companies tonight should be extremely proud.

“The strength in depth of the region’s businesses was reflected in over 100 companies entering the awards – and a record attendance. We thank each and every one of them for their support over the last 12 months.”

It has indeed been a challenging 12 months for so many businesses and we have had to work incredibly hard, especially during our transitional phase to Nottingham Venues, to maintain our ambitious plans for sustainable futures and growth across our venues.

However, whatever the challenges may be, we have always placed this at the heart of our offering and we are all excited to be playing our own small part in doing our bit for our guests, our people and of course, our planet.
