Double delight as we make two awards shortlists in a fortnight

We just heard that we have been shortlisted for TheBusinessDesk annual Masters Awards for the East Midlands region and we cannot wait to join the team and our fellow finalists at their dinner in October.

This fabulous news comes on the back of another high profile event that we attended earlier this month, when the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce team invited us to attend their annual President’s Summer Celebration, which included the announcement of the finalists for the Nottinghamshire Business Awards.

Our team has been nominated for the Excellence in Collaboration category, which aims to recognise and celebrate successful business partnerships where organisations have collaborated on a project with successful outcomes for those involved.

It is our work with the University of Nottingham that is in the spotlight here, as we worked together to create a bold new vision for our business after a decade as part of the De Vere group.

Whilst looking back fondly on that time, we are all now firmly focused on the future of our brand and our offering as a venue and a major part of that is our commitment to sustainability.

Indeed, that is what the BusinessDesk judging panel have spotted too, as it is against that crucial criteria that we will be judged ahead of the grand final in the autumn.

So there we have it, the past, present and the future all rolled into one or even two major moments of recognition from some highly respected organisations.
