Bramleys Restaurant at the Orchard Hotel is undergoing a £1 million transformation, set to unveil a modern and inviting dining experience in April 2025. This extensive refurbishment encompasses the lobby, mezzanine, bar area, and the restaurant itself, creating a stylish space ideal for coffee, drinks, and dining.
A menu that speaks for itself
A significant highlight of this revamp is the appointment of David Cartwright as Head Chef. Formerly leading the kitchen at Nottingham’s esteemed fine dining establishment, World Service, Cartwright brings a wealth of culinary expertise to Bramleys. His vision focuses on sustainable sourcing and showcasing high-quality, locally sourced produce to craft memorable dishes

Our iconic bar
The bar area is also being enhanced, with a newly appointed Bar Manager introducing an expanded cocktail menu. Guests can look forward to a selection of small plates and casual dining options available throughout the day, catering to various tastes and occasions.
Tom Waldron-Lynch, CEO of Nottingham Venues, emphasises the commitment to outstanding hospitality:
“We want to put the restaurant on the food map in Nottingham and create a high-quality restaurant that people in Nottingham want to visit, along with our corporate guests. The new environment will help this, but we are also refining our food and beverage offering, with a real focus on sustainable sourcing of quality produce.”

Dine and stay
Situated within 330 acres of the University of Nottingham’s parkland, the Orchard Hotel seamlessly blends modern design with environmental consciousness. The hotel offers 203 comfortable bedrooms and seven adaptable meeting spaces, making it an ideal destination for both corporate and leisure guests.
Stay tuned for further updates as we approach the grand reopening of Bramleys Restaurant, one of the best places to eat in Beeston. We eagerly anticipate welcoming you to experience the new standard in Nottingham dining.
