WFDF thanks you and your professional team of staff at Nottingham Venues for your efforts to host our event. The congress staff (esp. Ding) and front reception hotel staff were more than accommodating and made us feel very comfortable and welcome -we are very keen to work with our UK Ultimate partners at hosting events in the future at your venue again.
Just a quick message to say thank you for this weeks camp. It was another very successful badminton camp and I believe that Martin has secured a few player joining the Nottingham team this year after their A Level Results. I honestly believe the camp is working for all parties and it would happen without everyones efforts and input so thank you everyone.
We’ve had a great tournament both on and off the field. The weather wasn’t ideal but didn’t detract from what was a great event. As you mentioned we Welsh are used to the rain - don’t think the team from the Caymen Islands knew how to deal with it in the same way. The accommodation was terrific for us at the tournament. Comfy, clean with some great spaces for the team to relax. The food was great as well.
Just wanted to write a quick note to say thank you for the past 5 days. The preseason camp went really well and the boys and staff really enjoyed the time up at the University. The facilities were great, the schedule - testing but well planned and the accommodation and food was just what we needed.
Now that we’ve had a moment to breathe after the Championships, I wanted to send a heartfelt thank you for everything you did in the lead‑up to, and during, the National Championships. Quite honestly, without your support, responsiveness, and constant availability, things simply wouldn’t have run as smoothly as they did. It genuinely felt like one of the best weekends we’ve ever had at Nottingham, and so much of that is down to you. I’m sure you do far more than what’s technically required of you in the day job, and I want you to know how incredibly grateful I am for the time, effort, and care you put into making the event a success.
