What they wanted

Scientific Laboratory Supplies came to us with a clear goal: make this their best show yet.

It needed to feel big, professional and well put together but also easy for attendees to move around, engage, and enjoy. Alongside the main exhibition and conference, there was also a networking dinner and live entertainment to think about.

Oh and 1,500 delegates.

What we did

This one was a full site takeover, spread across multiple venues. The scale of it meant everything had to be carefully thought through from where people would go, to how spaces connected, to how the day would flow.

The exhibition and conference formed the heart of the event, with syndicate rooms helping spread activity and avoid overcrowding. A large marquee was also brought in to give that extra capacity where it was needed.

Food and drink were a big focus too. Guests had access to rolling refreshments, high-quality catering throughout, and a lively evening with a band to round things off.

What was happening behind the scenes

With an event of this size, the detail really matters. Planning started early, with regular check-ins and a lot of coordination between teams. On the day, it was all about staying connected and adapting as things moved.

• A tannoy system helped keep everyone informed
• Catering was staggered and spread across locations
• Multiple bars and table service reduced queues
• Parking was supported with attendants and overflow space
• Extra cleaning kept everything looking its best all day

It was a real team effort, with close collaboration between the venues teams and organisers to make sure nothing slipped through the cracks.
